EU issues warning to Poland on optical radiation and closes cases for ten countries

The European Commission has asked Poland to comply fully with EU legislation that protects workers from the health risks of excessive exposure to 'artificial optical radiation', such as laser equipment and UVA. The request takes the form of a 'reasoned opinion' under EU infringement procedures. Poland now has two months to comply.
